We are nothingness at its most basic form, free-floating particles of stardust condensed into shape. Do you remember where we came from? We are the fragments of dead galaxies, the product of destruction so complete we cannot comprehend. Whatever you think I mean, that is what I mean. The map of our veins, our skin, the skeleton lines of our bones in our bodies. Verse chorus verse—we are lit by the light of a thousand centuries. We are all going forward. I hope we never forget it.

Imperfection. Off-center kisses, clacking teeth, bumping noses. The mapwork of human relationships, at once simple and complex. The kind of wisdom you gain in kindergarten. An understanding that runs deeper than the surface, and relationships that follow; strength of bonds formed between two people. Hands. The universal languages of music and of touch. Mozart’s Requiem in D Minor. The mixing of religion and psychology. Hearing in color, deep and rich and vibrant. Questions that do not necessarily have answers.

Mistrust and distrust—misrepresentation. Lack of respect. Those who cannot comprehend that we are small. Judgement and racism; prejudice of all forms. The clashing of science and religion, as if the two are separate and distinct. Boxes, restrictions on who we may or may not be. Doubt. Lies and injustice (the threat to justice everywhere).
